Policies at Acquawear

We founded Acquawear with one goal in mind: giving our customers a fair, rewarding, and enjoyable shopping experience. Our store policies are detailed below, please have a look and contact us if you have any questions.

Terms of conditions for the swimwear in stock

  • Please note: The P&P rates start at £3.10 and are included in the cart payment option. All the UK parcels will be sent Royal Mail First Class to Sign For, Tracked or Special Delivery depending of the size and value.

  • If you have ordered from outside the UK, please note that all the parcels will be delivered Royal Mail Track & Sign, Track or Sign, depending of the type of posting your country provides. Please don’t ask me to send untracked parcels.

  • Refund / exchange given (except postage) for swimsuits with label and hygiene sticker still attached and in NEW condition, within 14 days. 

  • For sizing please have in mind that these are only guidelines, as different makes have different sizing, see each page. I am happy to measure flat individual swimsuits, so you can compare the sizes to the ones you already own. In my experience, this is quite an accurate guiding for finding the size you require.

  • Although the EU customs should not charge any customs fees as our swimwear is shipped from Northern Ireland, which is part of Customs Union, we found that lots of customers in the EU are charged €22 - €30. If your order is for more than 1-2 items, we recommend you using the DHL alternative, which will guarantee no other fees and you receive your products within 7 days. 

Terms and conditions for customised swimwear

  • Minimum order for a new design is 10 pieces (You can order individual suits in past designs only);

  • Repeat orders are not limited to any quantity, but you might find that it will be more economic to place a larger repeat order, as the postage can be quite substantial; 

  • A £20 administrative fee will be added to the cost if the order is less than 5 pieces;

  • For club designs, please make sure that the designs and colours are approved by the committee before the order is placed. (Always confirm the colours only from the fabric colour chart and not from the computer screen);

  • After the order is placed, we will be sending out our invoice which will be due to be paid strictly before the order is dispatched;

  • It takes only 3- 4 weeks to receive your order after the order is placed (depending of the type of delivery needed: Express or Economy);

  • Please note the prices can change without notice, but the prices listed on the website at the time of ordering will be your final prices;

  • Unless manufacturing faults are found, there are no refunds or replacements offered for any of the customised swim wear (club or individual);

  • Please read the “Instructions and Care for your Swimsuit”, found on the packaging, when you receive your customised swimwear;

Acquawear - PRIVACY POLICY (RETAIL / CUSTOMISED CLUB ORDERS)

The security of our customers' data is vital. Any personal data you provide to us and from which you can be identified is stored securely and confidentially and is processed in accordance with legislation and this privacy policy. The privacy policy sets out what type of personal data we collect about you when you interact with us and how we use your data.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised or unlawful processing of your personal data, including encrypting your information to applicable industry standards. This policy covers our website and online store (www.acquawear.co.uk / www.acquawear.com ) and any correspondence you have with us in relation to our retail sales or sports clubs.
